Dr.John SantaLucia Jr. received his B.S. in Chemistry from Clarkson University in 1987, and doctorate from the University of Rochester in 1991. After completing postdoctoral work in 1994 as a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, he became a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry at Wayne State University.

Dr. SantaLucia has published extensively in the field of Biochemistry, Thermodynamics and Structure of Nucleic Acids.
